Hey guys, uh, sorry for the random weird uploads. I know it's not my usual fare, but I've been doing some stuff for school and thought you all might like to see.
This week's assignment is using Shutter Priority only (NO MANUAL) to do Stop (using 1/250 shutter speed or above), Pan (using 1/30 shutter speed), and Blur (using 1/30 - 1/15 shutter speed). So just so some of you are aware, my two water drop shots (
[link] &
[link] ) aren't as in 'focus' due to the fact that I couldn't mess with aperture. And truth be told, I really wanted to see what the difference was, and now I know, and as GI Joe says "Knowing is half the battle!" So yeah, that was fun... I spent most of the day yesterday taking well over a thousand shots, only to erase about 3/4 of them, because they weren't what I wanted, or were well, if you work with water shots you know how daunting it can be to get it just darn right. So yeah, then I was mulling over and over because I had my stop shots done, just needed some blur shots, and pan shots, and was thinking how on earth am I going to do that? So I was perusing google when I came across some dice in motion shots, and seeing as I'm kind of a collector with dice... the funkier the better, well, inspiration hit. And seeing as I can spin them like a top, which I figured more people knew how to do but I guess not, because I used to do that at parties and people would be like "How did you do that?" LOL! So anyhoo, I spun away and got some great shots. I'm having difficulty picking which one I like... I am going to submit both and see which one my professor likes better, but they both kick ass. So if you'll go to my poll -->

OH, and I've noticed a huge influx of well... insect photography in my devwatch, and I just wanted you to know... I'm pretty sure they're awesome... but I have a healthy fear of insects, spiders in particular, so I am truly sorry, but I don't like to look at them, so please forgive me if I don't comment or view them. But to give you an example... one spider photo, or if I see one in my house, will send me into an itchy/crawly fit. For an HOUR, maybe even more, I'll feel them on me, even though they've never even touched me. Sometimes I even have nightmares, like I've had this week after seeing one in my bathroom... that had the audacity to chase ME! To explain my fear somewhat... Something happened when I was a kid, and let's just say, it's why I don't mow the lawn like... ever. I'll never do that again. Traumatic experience to say the least. So again, please forgive me, but most insect photos I tend to instantly delete. Sorry. But I still love the rest of your work, and I do try to get to see them when I can, even if I don't comment or fav it, I do try to look at it

And I understand if you feel the same way about some or most of my work... I try not to do the same thing over and over, but it happens from time to time. I make sure that if I do inundate you guys with water shots, that I at least have a different background for that set that week or whatever.
Anyhoo, much love to you all... I'll try to update sometime in the next week, maybe at school or something. But for now, I leave you with this... a great little 10 minute vid on Stormtroopers... Cops style... it's frickin hilarious!
