This piece is very symbolic to me. Today is my Mom's 70th birthday, and this signifies our life now. My dad passed away almost 20 years ago (just a few months shy of the 20th). So it's just my Mom, my older brother, and me. And funnily enough the drops kinda signify that order... with the missing drop at the beginning... that's partially there, because my Dad's memory is still there. It's not how I planned the shot, but one that really came alive while thinking about it. And it's the first macro photo with my D300, so that's pretty sweet

Thanks... and I hope she lives at least another 20 years... I don't know what I'd do without her

Now the bad is where the signature comes in. I can't help but want to get rid of it in my mind as I look at this stunning picture. But the signature pops up too much and is a bit cheap in design, something more subtle, smaller and much more transparent would certainly take a lot of the negative weight that shifts towards the signature. Aside of that this is a very nice photograph. Very good job on the tones and colors.
