Whether we were playing with our friends, going to the movies, whatever. We hear that special song, and instantly we time travel back to a certain event like Marty McFly. Here are some songs from my Soundtrack. Berlin - "Take My Breath Away" - The first time I saw Top Gun, and that love scene between Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis. Unbeknownst to any of the boys I dated, I always compared their kisses to that one. Let's just say, none of them ever lived up to it. Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes - "I've Had the Time of My Life" - Nobody puts Baby in a corner! Billy Idol - "Cradle of Love" - I still remember the video to this day, and I probably haven't seen it in 10 years. Bobby McFerrin - "Don't Worry Be Happy" - No matter where you are, what you are doing, you will always smile with this song. Whenever you have a bad day, pop this one up on the iPod and smile. Brownstone - "If You Love Me" - Guy troubles, need I say more? Bruce Hornsby - "The Show Goes On" - After seeing Backdraft, I totally fell in love with Kurt Russell. In fact, Kurt remains to this day the only actor that I've ever had an erotic dream about. Seriously, why can't I have one about Hayden Christensen!!!! Celine Dion - "My Heart Will Go On" - I don't care what ANYBODY says, Titanic was one of THE best movies of my generation. Rick Astley - "Never Gonna Give You Up" - The only class in High School that I ever liked was Chorus. Our tenth grade year, me and my best friend were crushing on a guy, David, hardcore. We had a Chorus Pool Party at the end of the year, and he was graduating, never to be seen again, and yeah, this song was playing in the background as I watched his gorgeous body (at the time, I was young, and he was kinda lanky) enter the water as he dove in. MMMmmm... the only thing I miss about school is Chorus. Def Leppard - "Pour Some Sugar On Me" - This rock anthem was, is, and still remains one of my favorite songs of all time. I remember me and my friends, sitting on the carport playing with our Star Wars figurines, listening to the local radio station, 93.3 FLZ (back then it was called The Power Pig... they eventually got rid of that). When this song would come on, we'd all get up and have the air guitars going. "Step Inside, Walk This Way, You and Me Babe, HEY HEY!" The Escape Club - "Wild Wild West" - What song in the 80's WASN'T about Sex? But this one was actually about having SAFE sex, so ya know, positive message and all Faith No More - "Epic" - It's it, what is it? Guns N Roses - "Sweet Child O' Mine" - Axl Rose may have been just a bit nutso, but he seemed like a sweetie in this vid. Information Society - "Pure Energy" - Many times I spent in a local hangout/club dancing to this song. Another one of my top favorites. Kool & the Gang - "Celebration" - Watching CHiPs as a youngster I always loved Jon over Ponch... he just looked better in those tight pants. New Kids on the Block - "You Got It (the Right Stuff)" - Seriously, this is where my boyband phase began. And it's continued for oh... 20 years now. New Kids on the Block - "Please Don't Go Girl" - My love for Joe McIntyre started with this video. And let me tell you, 20 years later, he sounds even sexier singing it with his deep voice... Poison - "Nothing But A Good Time" - Seriously, Brett Michaels can talk Dirty To Me anytime! Shanice - "I Love Your Smile" - Still thinking of Joe McIntyre on the long bus rides home, in the hot Florida summers (summer school), I would just listen to this and think of Joe's "Like Totally Awesome" smile Taylor Dayne - "Tell It to My Heart" - "Is this really love or just a dream" and yes, it was mostly daydreams about Joey. Seriously, the man now looks like a Greek God, I can't help it! There are so many more songs I could put down, but here's just a few I was thinking of while doing this piece. Hope you like it! Ok, before you go critiquing, please be gentle with me, it's my first time This was a long ass piece, and it took me a culmination of 2 days coming up with the idea, and 2 days putting pen tool to Digital Canvas. I'm happy with the piece, even if I know there's a few things wrong with it... the lines and curves aren't perfect. I really need Adobe Illustrator for that I guess, because I just can't draw a nice curve without having blotches/blemishes in it. But regardless, the idea is something I came up after seeing a piece by ~umar123 ~Music Notes come from --> [link] by ~Lucifer017 CommentsOh wow, comments already w00t!
